I bought this hoping it would be like the Twitter game Spymaster but with some sort of geolocation element — it IS a game for the Watch, after all. It’s not even a tenth as deep as that. You send your spy out on missions and then are presented with two options on a sporadic basis as the spy progresses through them. The decisions seem to have no affect on the outcome and the spy fails them about 90% of the time, regardless of training. You then get a notice that the mission is complete and your reward is money - the only purpose of which seems to be training the spy in skill levels that seem to have no affect on his tasks in the missions. Maybe if it had a decent story it might be worth it, but it lacks even that.

The idea sounds so promising but the execution is just terrible. Very buggy app, with messages getting lost and gameplay getting stuck, and uninteresting story with no player agency and no twists. Especially disappointing when played alongside Lifeline, which actually has meaningful player decisions which strongly influence the story

I would recommend that others refrain from purchasing this app. I found it entertaining at first but it is way too buggy. I am no longer prompted to give any direction to my agent, which is the entirety of the gameplay. Points for going for a cool idea, but the execution is just awful. Its just $2.00 but if the developer ever wanted me to even consider purchasing another game they would offer some type of refund, credit, or other gesture.

I have to update my review because now the app crashes every time I open it. When it was working I wrote everything below. I really did want to like this game. I got it within the first 30 minutes of getting my Apple Watch. First, I very rarely get notifications during a mission. When I do they are just bland and not very exciting. Second, the story is boring because of the lack of notifications and it doesnt seem to matter which choice I pick. Third, it doesnt sync up with the iPhone very well. Please fix this app. I really want to enjoy it.

I liked this game because it was designed mostly for the Apple Watch. However, each mission sends one or two communications. I hoped for more drama and excitement in each mission. Even the "risky" decisions go flawless. Needs more creativity in the storyline. It would be cool to actually use the Touch ID to login to the app.

I got this game thinking it would be like a prank game or like "tap the person to assassinate, then work on stealth", but this is actually just a waiting game. But this will be a great game to very patient people. Like the Sims, without fast speed. I like the backstory, and the design, but I think you should go buy Watch Dogs if you know what Im saying.

The game is too short, too buggy, and the storyline is HORRIBLE! Wish I didnt pay for this.

Twice Ive restarted this game. Its really cool but whenever I hit level 30 it crashes on my watch and on the phone. I cant open t anywhere and am forced to reload it. Please fix!!!!!

The game stops if youre on the phone most the time for being able to inform your spy on what to do.

Man! Everyone acts like they have spent a half weeks pay for the app. If nothing else, its a really cool spy watch face, with time and mission count downs. I enjoy it. Nice app. Keep the games and updates coming

I start the missions and dont get any communication or notifications from the field operative. The missions play out without my interaction and thats it. Love the idea but its not working. Im trying!

Its a cool app really for the watch but if you miss the notification to answer on the watch you want make a decision on what path your agent goes you can see the question but no way to answer it and now after a few days I cant play it all on my watch and that was the only benefit to this game

Its a fun app and has a great story.

Cool concept, but I just start missions, wait, then they end. Little to no decision making. Was hoping for so much more

An unimaginative plot, bland writing, and a complete lack of creativity turn a very interesting concept into a monotonous chore. Seriously not worth the $2. Wouldnt even download it if it was free.

App works fine until it forgets to send you a notification and then there is no way to answer the question and continue... I just started the game and one push notification later it is dead... I wish I could get a refund!

Its the first game Ive enjoyed in quite awhile- and its a lot of fun to get messages from your spy during the business day. Yes, there are a couple of times when it seems like s/he is simply updating you rather than asking for a recommendation for action, but that really didnt diminish my enjoyment. Theres humor sprinkled throughout the process and thats another point in favor - totally recommended. I do hope that there will be a new chapter at some point though!

Its fun playing "Spy" during the day but Ive already finished? More More More Please! And more like it!!

The game seems like it would be very fun and enjoyable, but it has a bug and I cant even play. It wont send a notification for choices, and in the app I cannot pick what he should do. Please get this fixed soon!
